AT&T to offer discounts for students on wireless plans

This past weekend, Santa Clara students received news via e-mail regarding Santa Clara and AT&T's newly finalized affinity agreement, that will provide discounts on service plans for undergraduate and graduate student personally-owned devices.

Students who take advantage of this opportunity will receive a discount of 10% on voice and data service by either registering at www.att.com/wireless/scustudents and selecting "Santa Clara University – Student", entering their ZIP code, (scroll down to click on the "Enroll Now" link inside the Employee Discount box) or by presenting their Access Card at an AT&T company store for the same discount.

These links also will soon be on eCampus accounts, with the computer discount links under the "My Page" tab.

AT&T has also previously collaborated with Santa Clara students in creating the reception tower located on the Swig Hall to provide students with better service, thanks in part to ASG.

Recently, AT&T has also worked with Santa Clara to construct cell towers in the are in order to better provide cell service in the Santa Clara area.
