The Broncos picked up a road victory against the Cardinal on Monday afternoon, jumping out to an early lead behind Nathan Faulkner's perfect 5-for-5 performance.
The senior from Temecula, Calif. went had a double and two RBIs and led the Broncos in an offensive surge that produced 17 hits in the game.
The Broncos scored nine runs in the first inning alone and forced Cardinal pitcher, Austin Yount, out of the game after just two-thirds of an inning pitched.
Tommy Medica continued his hot streak, adding two RBI's for the Broncos in four at-bats. Centerfielder Matt Long also knocked four runs.
Starter Sean O'Neill struck out three and earned his second win of the year.

Broncos set new records
The Bronco track team traveled to UC Irvine on Saturday to compete at the Steve Scott Invitational.
Led by junior Mike Delaurenti, the Broncos continued to improve as they prepare for the Division I independent track championship on May 11.
Delaurenti broke the school record in the Steeplechase, running 9:19.88, just 13 seconds shy of the NCAA regional standard. Freshman John Laughlin ran 4:25.85 in the mile.
On the women's side, sophomore Veronica Vasquez led six in the top 10 of the 5000 meter. Vasquez ran 18:02.47.
Freshman Shanthi Blanchard ran her first 5000 ever and placed sixth with a time of 18:37.84
