Santa Clara 2, San Diego 0

At 62:43, Jordan Angeli scored yet again with a fast delivery which snuck by Torero goalkeeper Brittany Cameron. Junior goalkeeper Julie Ryder was able to get her fifth shutout of the season.
MEN'S SOCCER
Santa Clara 2, San Diego 0
Just like the women, the men's soccer team was able to put away San Diego in a shutout. More memorable for the team was winning a game at USD, which has not happened for the Broncos since 1996. Senior goalkeeper Kevin Sweeney had his third shutout of the season and has only allowed two goals in close to 400 minutes of playing time. Senior forward Kelechi Igwe scored in the 21st minute on an assist from midfielder Peter Lowry. Nearing the end of the game, senior forward Hector Guzman scored from 10 yards away in the 78th minute to clinch the win.
LMU 3, Santa Clara 1
In their third loss of the year, Santa Clara outshot the Lions 13-7 but couldn't benefit from their numerous scoring opportunities. Things looked good in the 23rd minute of the match when senior Jeff Scott sent an unassisted kick flying into the goal to give the Broncos the lead. Only 15 seconds from the end of the first half, however, LMU midfielder Junior Ybarra blasted one past Kevin Sweeney to tie the score. In the second half, LMU put away the match by scoring twice, once in the 57th minute and again in the 62nd.
