Karenna Gore Schiff, former vice president Al Gore's daughter, will be speaking in Mayer Theatre about her first book, "Lighting the Way: Nine Women Who Changed Modern America." Schiff is a children's advocate, journalist and lawyer. In her book, she tells the story of nine women who have had an impact on America's social and political history.
During Al Gore's campaign, she served as his closest advisor, leaving people to question a possible political future. Student entry is free with a valid I.D.
