Khaled Hosseini to speak Tuesday
Author and Santa Clara graduate Khaled Hosseini will lecture Tuesday evening in the second event of the President's Speaker Series.
Hosseini wrote The Kite Runner, a novel about two boys and their experiences during the various political upheavals in Afghanistan. The book was adapted into a screenplay and is in the process of filming for a movie. He will read excerpts from his novel and take questions from the audience.
Although tickets are sold out, students can get overflow tickets at the box office before the show.
Santa Clara Review release party Friday
A new issue of The Santa Clara Review is out Friday, and all are invited to pick up a copy in Kennedy Commons at 5 p.m.
Contributors will be reading selections from the issue, and refreshments will be served.
