AS to hold women's self-defense class
AS will be sponsoring a women's self defense class on Wednesday Oct. 17 at 5 p.m in the Williman room.
Lara Aziz from YWCA of San Jose and other instructors will teach women basic self defense measures the could use in the event of an attack.
This is the first of what AS hopes will be more self-defense classes for women held on campus.
The first class is already full; however, women who want to get on a waiting list for future classes can sign up in the AS office.
Admission to the class is free of charge.
