Medical emergency
10/25: A Swig Hall resident accidentally injured herself while cutting a box. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
10/27: A Swig Hall resident had a badly swollen finger due to a ring that could not be removed. CSS and SCU EMS responded. The resident was transported to O'Connor Hospital by a friend.
10/27: A Casa Italiana resident injured his head when he accidentally hit a ceiling fire sprinkler in his room, while climbing from his upper bunk.
10/28: A Swig Hall resident fell and injured her head while attempting to sit in a wheelchair. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
Informational report
10/25: A non-affiliate female reportedly gained access into the Malley Fitness Center without authorization or permission, after being admonished previously. CSS responded and escorted her out of the building and she was given a trespass warning.
10/26: Two unidentified men were observed gaining entry into a parked vehicle in the Bannan lot. They fled the area upon noticing CSS staff arrival. The owner was contacted and informed.
10/26: Two male students were reported having a physical altercation while playing basketball in Malley Center. CSS responded.
10/28: Someone set a newspaper on fire on top of a folding table, damaging an outdoor table in the Kennedy Mall area. CSS extinguished the fire.
10/29: A non-affiliate guest was reported having an argument which turned into an assault in a Dunne Hall resident's room. CSS and SCPD responded. The guest was taken into SCPD custody.
Alcohol
10/27: Several students and two non-affiliate guests were found in possession of alcoholic beverages in McLaughlin Hall resident's room. The alcoholic beverages were confiscated and disposed of.
10/29: A female student was found ill due to excessive alcohol consumption outside of McLaughlin Hall. CSS, SCU EMS, SCPD, SCFD and paramedics responded. The female student was transported to Valley Medical Center by paramedics. Notifications were made.
Drugs
10/28: CSS responded to Campisi Hall to assist a housing staff member in the investigation of a resident's room. Marijuana, drug paraphenalia and alcohol were found and disposed of.
10/28: CSS assisted a housing staff member in the investigation and search of three resident rooms, for marijuana possession and use. A small amount of marijuana was found and was confiscated.
