Fire alarm

2/10: A smoke detector was set off in the Alameda South apartments, activating the fire alarm.

2/14: A Swig Hall fire alarm was activated by burned popcorn. CSS and SCFD responded.

Theft

2/14: A laptop computer was reported stolen from the first floor of Orradre Library.

Disturbance

2/10: A group of people were reportedly causing a disturbance while visiting a resident.

2/11: Two large groups of non-affiliate males attending events at the Benson Memorial Center were reportedly having physical altercations. CSS and SCPD responded. A male suspect was reported distributing a bag of pills to students. The pills were turned over to SCPD and the two groups were escorted off campus.

Medical emergency

2/11: A Campisi resident was reportedly ill due to excessive alcohol consumption. CSS and EMS responded.

2/11: A student was reportedly injured while participating in a rugby game on Bellomy Field. CSS, SCU EMS, SCFD and paramedics responded. The student was transported to O'Connor Hospital by paramedics.

2/12: A Walsh Hall resident reported having an injured ankle and requested crutches. CSS and SCU EMS responded and provided him with the crutches.

Student behavior

2/12: A Sanfilippo resident was found in possession of alcoholic beverages in his room. They were confiscated and disposed of.

2/12: Two Sanfilippo residents were reported having an ongoing physical dispute. CSS responded and documented the incident.

Found property

2/11: A purse was found on the lawn area on Palm Drive and turned in to the CSS office. The owner was notified.

Vandalism

2/13: Graffiti was found written on a trash bin container outside of the Benson Memorial Center.
