Campus safety report
Vandalism
2/24: Graffiti was found on the wall of the men's restroom in the Benson Memorial Center basement.
Disturbance
2/24: CSS and SCPD responded to Dunne Hall regarding a report of a student and a visitor who were intoxicated and causing a disturbance. They were taken into custody for being drunk in public by SCPD.
2/25: A student was seen shouting outside Swig Hall, issuing a challenge to a resident who had thrown a bottle at him and his friends. CSS responded to the area and asked him to leave the area.
2/25: Two juveniles were seen racing in the parking structure with gasoline powered scooters. CSS and SCPD responded. One of the juveniles fled the area, and the other was admonished and escorted off campus by SCPD.
Student behavior
2/26: A Casa Italiana resident was seen tampering with a parking barricade in front of Sobrato Hall and taking it to his room. CSS responded to question the resident.
Medical emergency
2/26: A Dunne Hall resident was reportedly ill due to possible food poisoning. CSS and SCU EMS responded. The resident was transported to O'Connor Hospital by taxi.
2/26: A student injured his ankle while playing basketball in Pat Malley Center. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
Fire alarm
2/26: The South Alameda Apts. fire alarm was activated possibly by candles burning in a resident's room. CSS and SCFD responded.
Burglary
2/23: Two male suspects reportedly gained entry into a Graham 400 Hall resident's room through the window and stole a laptop, a wallet and two cell phones. The residents discovered them upon returning to their room. They chased and detained one of the suspects. CSS and SCPD responded. The suspect was taken into custody by SCPD.
