Informational report
1/26: A vehicle spun out on El Camino Real, striking a light pole and careening onto the lawn of Loyola Hall. CSS and SCPD responded.
1/30: A vehicle was found displaying a reported lost permit at Sobrato C lot. The vehicle owner was notified to contact the Campus Safety Office.
1/31: A student riding a bicycle was reportedly hit by a vehicle that was backing out of a parking space on Palm Drive. The student refused any medical assistance.
Found property
1/31: A cell phone was found on Franklin Street and turned in to the CSS office. The owner was notified.
Drug violation
1/31: CSS responded to a Campisi Hall resident's room to investigate a smell of marijuana. After a room search and some questioning, the resident admitted to smoking marijuana. The contraband was confiscated and disposed of.
Medical emergency
1/25: A student injured his finger while playing basketball in Malley Center. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
1/26: A student injured his knee during a soccer game on Bellomy Field. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
1/28: A Swig Hall resident was reportedly ill due to excessive alcohol consumption. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
1/28: Another Swig Hall resident was reportedly ill due to excessive alcohol consumption. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
1/29: A Campisi Hall resident injured his finger while playing football off campus and required medical assistance. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
1/29: A Swig Hall resident was reportedly intoxicated and fell out of his upper bunk bed. CSS, SCU EMS, SCPD, SCFD and paramedics responded. The resident was transported to Valley Medical Center by paramedics. Notifications made.
Theft
1/24: A bicycle was reported missing from the Bannan Engineering bike racks.
1/26: A bicycle was reported missing from the Bannan quad bike racks.
1/27: A Swig Hall resident reported that her wallet was missing.
Student behavior
1/28: Dunne Hall residents were reportedly throwing water balloons from upper floor windows at people on the sidewalk below. CSS responded to investigate. Some balloons and water guns were confiscated by a RL staff member.
1/29: Four non-resident students were reported verbally threatening two Dunne Hall residents, and threw some of their possessions from their room window. They fled the building before CSS arrival.
Vandalism
1/25: A non-affiliate male was seen vandalizing a bulletin board in the Benson lobby. He fled the area and CSS and SCPD responded. The suspect was taken into custody by SCPD.
1/26: An unknown person reversed the tire trap on the north Alviso St exit, causing tire damage to CSS vehicle.
Suspicious persons
1/29: Two non-affiliate males were observed trespassing on campus. CSS and SCPD responded to question them. One of the males was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and drug possession.
