Student behavior

4/30: A student was found improperly displaying a handicapped placard to park in a handicapped space in the South Bannan lot. The placard was confiscated by SCPD.

4/28: A student worker was reported under the influence of alcohol and refused to leave his work area at the Sanfilippo service desk.

Per a request from a residence staff member, his room was searched and a small amount of marijuana, two glass pipes and alcoholic beverages were found. All items were confiscated and disposed of.

Due to his unstable behavior, SCPD was contacted and responded.

4/28: Swig Hall residents were reported having a loud argument in a resident's room, causing a disturbance. Campus Safety responded and questioned the residents.

Medical emergency

4/30: A student lost consciousness while attending a class in O'Connor Hall.

Campus Safety responded and transported the student to Cowell Health Center.

4/28: A staff member accidentally ran over his foot with a car jack, slightly injuring his foot. He refused transportation to a hospital.

4/28: A student was reported feeling ill due to heat exhaustion in the Benson lot. CSS, SCU EMS, SCFD and paramedics responded.

The student was transported to O'Connor hospital by a friend.

4/28: A Dunne Hall resident tripped and fell down while running on Lafayette Street and injured herself. CSS and SCU EMS responded.

Drugs

4/28: Campus Safety assisted Campisi Hall Residence staff in the investigation of a smell of marijuana in a resident's room. No marijuana was found in the room after a room search, but a false identification was found and was confiscated.

4/26: A Sanfilippo Hall resident was reportedly ill due to excessive alcohol consumption. CSS, SCU EMS, SCFD and paramedics responded.

The resident was transported to O'Connor Hospital by paramedics.

Found property

4/30: Cash was found and turned in to the Campus Safety Office.

4/26: A vehicle license plate was found on the second floor of the parking structure. The owner was notified.

Theft

4/28: A purse was reported missing from the Fine Arts building.

Vehicle

4/29: A vehicle with numerous outstanding parking violations was impounded from the Bannan lot.
