Found property
9/30: An Access card and ID badge were found in Kenna Hall and turned in to the CSS office.
10/1: A black binder was found and turned in to the CSS office.
Medical emergency
9/30: A student injured his ankle while playing basketball in Pat Malley Center. CSS responded and transported him to Cowell Health Center.
10/1: A student was found lying in a Washington Street parking lot intoxicated. CSS, SCPD, SCFD and paramedics responded. The student was transported to O'Connor Hospital by paramedics.
10/1: A non-affiliate female was reportedly ill in the basement of Benson Center. CSS, SCFD and paramedics responded. She was transported to O'Connor Hospital by paramedics.
10/2: A Dunne Hall resident was reportedly ill due to excessive alcohol consumption. CSS and SCU EMS responded.
10/3: A Sanfilippo resident fell from her elevated bed and injured her head. CSS, SCU EMS, SCFD and paramedics responded. She was transported to O'Connor Hospital by the CF.
9/29: A student lost consciousness in Fine Arts. CSS, SCFD and paramedics responded. The student was transported to O'Connor Hospital by paramedics.
Vandalism
10/1: An unknown male reportedly broke the bathroom window of Alameda North Apartments, room 106. CSS, SCPD and SCFD responded, but could not locate the suspect. While searching for the suspect, a non-affiliate male was found intoxicated under a van next to the alley entrance. Paramedics responded and transported him to a hospital.
Theft
9/29: A bicycle was reported missing from the Benson Center entrance.
9/29: An out-of-state license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the Leavey Center lot.
Student behavior
10/1: A Sobrato resident and his non-affiliated guests were reported in possession of alcohol in his room. CSS responded. The alcohol was disposed of and the non-affiliate guests were asked to leave the campus.
10/1: CSS and SCPD responded to investigate a report of a fight in progress involving 10 to 20 people in The Bronco at approximately 1 a.m.

The university offers several tips to prevent alcohol poisoning:
Deadly warning signs
* Slow breathing * Weak pulse * Cold, clammy skin * Vomiting, urinating or defecating while sleeping
If someone is sick from alcohol
* Call 911. * Don't leave the person alone. * Turn the victim on his or her side to prevent chocking. * Stay with the person until medical help arrives.

Police say simple crime-prevenion tips can prevent you from becoming another statistic.
* Secure your outside doors and windows with deadbolt locks, and add separate locks to windows and sliding-glass doors.
* Move valuables into a secure room that the house always has locked, especially during public events, such as parties.
* Have a small engraving of a driver's license number on small electronics.
