Campus safety report
Property
3/21: A checkbook was found in the Bannan Engineering building and turned in to the Campus Safety office. The owner was notified.
3/24: Numerous miscellaneous items of found property were turned in to the Campus Safety office by Benson Center.
3/25: A cell phone was found outside of the Music and Dance Facility and turned in to the Campus Safety office.
Medical emergency
3/21: A student injured her knee while practicing dance moves in the Center for Performing Arts. Campus Safety, SCFD and paramedics responded. The student was transported to O'Connor Hospital by paramedics.
3/30: A non-affiliate male was found semi-conscious from excessive alcohol consumption at the foot of the east stairs of the Arts and Sciences building. SCPD, SCFD and paramedics were contacted and responded. The non-affiliate male was transported to Valley Medical Center by paramedics.
Theft
3/22: A laptop was reported stolen from a Swig Hall resident's unlocked room.
3/24: A student took a university electric cart from the Dunne Hall parking lot and drove it off campus to Lafayette Street and the El Camino Real. Campus Safety was able to catch up with the student and questioned him. The cart was taken back to the university and the student was documented.
Student Behavior
3/21: Several students were observed in possession of alcoholic beverages within the Kennedy Commons volleyball court area. The alcoholic beverages were confiscated and were disposed of. The behavior was documented by CSS.
3/24: Several students were found smoking marijuana in a Dunne Hall resident's room. They were questioned and admonished.
A small amount of marijuana and a glass pipe were confiscated and destroyed.
3/27: A Campisi Hall resident reported that her roommate had taken her car without permission and possibly removed other property. The victim also made a report with SCPD.
Drunk in Public
3/23: An unidentified male was found under the influence of alcoholic beverages on the sidewalk between the Heafey Law Library and Kenna Hall.
The male was unable to care for himself nor provide any information when questioned by CSS and SCPD. He was taken into custody by SCPD for being drunk in public.
