The Robert Cray Band

Robert Cray, a blues singer and guitarist from Georgia, has been performing and recording music for almost 30 yeas. His extensive solo catalog reaches back to 1980, and most of his albums have been critically acclaimed. A talented guitarist with a soulful voice, he stands not so far beyond the ranks of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, and John Lee Hooker. Come see him perform his tight, modern blues with his band at the Fillmore in San Francisco. John Hammond will be the opening artist. Movie Screening: "Radio"

It's movie night again in the Bronco, and this Friday, they're featuring the new film "Radio" starring Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding Jr. With screenings at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. it's tough to pass up this FREE opportunity to avoid the lines at Blockbuster.

Charisma!

For the 4th year in a row, members of Charisma (student Theatre and Dance group) perform in a celebration of spirituality through music, dance and spoken word. The possibility of men in tights is only an added bonus. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Fess Parker Studio Theatre. Admission is free. The Paladins

Want to catch a cool concert but don't have much to spend? We have your answer! Three awesome bands will be rockin' out the Blank Club in downtown San Jose. Acclaimed rockabilly group the Paladins, who are on the verge of their 20th anniversary, will be the headliners. Cacti Widders and the Pimp Sticks will also be performing. Iraq Panel Discussion

Just when you begin to think that your global news class isn't telling you everything about the situation in the Middle East, the fabulous SCU faculty gives you an opportunity to see the full picture. More than 100 photographs by the nation's leading photojournalists will be on display at the de Saisset Museum until March. The exhibit reflects Latino Americans and their experiences in this country and should prove to be both an enlightening and moving display. Admission is free.
