Dr. Cheryl Shavers, CEO of Global Smarts, Inc. and former Under Secretary of Technology for the Clinton Administration will be at the Adobe Lodge to discuss the role of the new "technocrat" and technology in the business world. A breakfast buffet makes the event a bit pricey ($25 for students), but you might find this a worthwhile morning wake up. Ethics at Noon

Rev. Gerald Coleman, S.S. of St. Patrick's Seminary; Religious Studies Professor Fred Parrella; and Law Professor June Carbone will discuss the theological, moral and legal implications of issues surrounding gay marriage. More than 100 photographs by the nations leading photojournalists will be on display at the de Saisset Museum until March. The exhibit reflects Latino Americans and their experiences in this country and should prove to be both an enlightening and moving display.
