Mariners fan seeks team's redemption

OH YOUNG JACK -- boy did you open up a can of worms with your last article about the Mariners. Not only was your article lacking substance, but what in God's name were you thinking? Your analysis was comparable to that of a 10-year-old. So let me get this right -- the reason the Mariners aren't going to win the World Series is because Lou Pinella is fat and Bret Boone is a hick? That's logical. Now I am a realistic fan, and I am not guaranteeing a Series ring, but the Mariners are the best team out there. They have the most solid pitching staff one through four, they have two possible MVP candidates in Boone and Ichiro, and they have the team chemistry that will give them the best record in the history of the A.L. That is substance Jack -- you should try it in an upcoming article. The A's are the hottest team in baseball and the Yanks have emotional intangibles from the recent terrorist attacks. So it will be interesting, but whoever comes out of the A.L. will win the Series. I would be happy to offer you any advice in your future articles -- it looks like you could use it.
