Claire Krebs and Sophia Standard Elected to Lead ASG

Claire Krebs ’26 and Sophia Standard ’26 have been elected President and Vice President of Santa Clara University’s Associated Student Government for the 2025–26 academic year, following the release of official election results Thursday morning.

The pair ran on a platform centered around “proactive advocacy, community engagement, and internal accountability,” pledging to build a student government that actively listens to and uplifts student voices.

In the sophomore class senate race, Tiago Moreno ’28, Liz Mori ’28, and Noah Karnowski ’28 secured senator positions. No candidates ran for junior or senior senate seats this cycle; those positions will be filled through appointment in the coming weeks.
