Waterpolo Grabs National Attention in Latest Polls

The water wasn't as kind to the Broncos later in the day as the team dropped a 10-5 decision to Whittier. Juniors Jeff Kopacek and John Coughlin each had a pair of goals in the loss.Saturday started off well for the Broncos, as they defeated Claremont in the day's first game. The Broncos then lost 11-6 later in the day to Redlands. It was the team's second loss of the year to that school, the first having come at the UC San Diego Triton Tournament, held in early September.

The Broncos closed out the tournament on Sunday with a 12-6 loss to UC San Diego and a 9-2 win over Washington.The team is next in action this weekend, when they take part in the Nor Cal Tournament. The tournament will be at Berkeley and will be all day both Saturday and Sunday.
