Wet 'n wild 'Slip 'n Slide' style

Spring has come along with the perfectly temperate weather that always accompanies it, but pretty soon Santa Clara is going to become unbearably hot. Students will rush to class, attempting to avoid sun stroke only to brave muggy classrooms. A student cannot even look forward to the pool because of overcrowding. Before losing hope and transferring to a school with snow on the ground six months out of the year, consider one fantastically fun option: Slip 'n Slide!

The good folks at the Wham-O company have been manufacturing the Slip 'n Slide for years, and continue to improve on the original model. The newest manifestation features a water reservoir at the end of the track, and an increased number of water jets on the sides. The track runs 18 feet long but several could be strung together to create an even slippier, slide-ier experience.

Feel free to ignore the age recommendation, (who is Wham-O to tell you that you are too old to have fun?) and embrace the return to youth. As long as the rider is 5 to 12 at heart, no draconian age restriction will stand in their way. The best part about the Slip 'n Slide is that it is portable. All that is needed is a faucet and a group of rowdy, overheated college students, who are looking for fun. Some of the obvious activities to engage in besides simple sliding are races or distance contests.

The Slip 'n Slide has a simple design, but the options for fun are endless. Make sure to clear out your social calendar before buying the Slip 'n Slide, because you will need time to hang out with all of the new friends that you will make. Leave your maturity at the dorm, and have some childish fun.
