The Santa Clara men's basketball team improved to 7-3 with a dominating 60-49 win over the University of Montana Monday night at the Leavey Center. The Broncos built a 17 point lead just five minutes into the second half, 42-25. Although Santa Clara struggled down the stretch, committing six turnovers in the final eight minutes, their lead proved to be too much for the Grizzlies to overcome as the Broncos sealed the victory with two free throws from junior guard Calvin Johnson.

Web update: Broncos fall to Pacific 71-65

The Santa Clara men's basketball team returned home from a seven game road trip with a loss to the University of Pacific 71-65. With 7:04 left in the game, the Tigers gained a 13 point advantage on a three-pointer from guard Michael Kirby. The Broncos were able to mount a comeback, cutting the lead to four, 66-62, with 57 seconds to play.

Web update: Men's soccer falls to Notre Dame in third round

The Broncos saw their season come to an end in the third round Saturday night, losing 2-0 to No. 10 Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish netted two goals in the second half, ending seventh ranked Santa Clara's 18-game unbeaten streak. Notre Dame struck first midway through the second half on a goal in the 67th minute by senior Joseph Lapira that came off an errant pass from Broncos' defender Jalil Anibaba.
