Santa Clara University alumnus and Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski ’25 attended his second straight game at the Leavey Center. When asked what advice he would give his younger self, he reflected, “If it all worked out in the end, would you care what it looked like in the middle?”

Podziemski also spoke about his continued love for the game and his admiration for players such as Sash Gavalyugov ’29. He noted that Gavalyugov had a similar path to his after transferring to Santa Clara University from a larger program such as Villanova.

Next up: The Broncos face WCC rival Saint Mary’s on Saturday, Jan. 17 at 4:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
