Men’s Soccer Celebrate Each Other in 5-2 Win on Rainy Senior Night

Santa Clara University men’s soccer beat the University of Pacific 5-2 in their final game and senior night on Saturday at Stevens Stadium.
The Broncos started off the game conceding a goal from Pacific in the tenth minute. They rallied back in the 37th minute with a goal from Jaiden Windell ’27.

Will Wiersdorf ’27 followed him with his own goal three minutes later.

Pacific tied the game at 2-2 in the 43rd minute.
The Broncos went on a scoring spree 15 minutes into the second half. In the 61st minute, Wiersdorf scored his second goal of the night off a free kick from the outside left corner of the penalty area. Windell notched his second goal about 90 seconds later. Grad student James Wangsness scored the Broncos’ final goal in the 67th minute.

The Broncos honored seniors Pierce Dyal ’26, Naji Elder ’26, Baronyi Kengeye ’26, Marin ’26, Jackson Ozburn ’26 and Spencer Roberts ’25, M.S. ’26 before the game.

They end the season in fifth place in the West Coast Conference with a conference record of 3-3-3.
