Located just outside Santa Clara University’s campus, Cramer’s Bagels is a favorite among students. Whether they’re looking for a quick snack before class, a coffee pick-me-up or one of the store’s many bagels and sandwiches, Cramer’s is the place to go.

While known primarily for their classic New York-style bagels, Cramer’s doesn’t stop at the basics. Alongside favorites such as plain, sesame seed and everything, the menu leans into more unexpected flavors. Bagel varieties such as Hot Cheetos, cinnamon sugar and banana nut stand out from the traditional options.

“They have a lot of options and variety, so it’s always exciting to try something new,” said Claire Hong ’27, a repeat patron of the bagel shop.

Beyond bagels, Cramer’s also offers sweet pastries such as muffins and croissants. Looking for something more savory? The menu features pizza bagels and a variety of sandwiches, with toppings that include meats, vegetables and cheeses.

The options don’t stop there. If you’re just looking for a drink, Cramer’s has plenty to offer. Coffee and tea are available to order, and they even have a self-serve machine for hot beverages. On the colder side, Cramer’s offers smoothies, bottled beverages and their own Vietnamese iced coffee. Near the entrance, there is a refrigerator stocked with drinks you can grab on your way to checkout.

On their menu, Cramer’s classifies their different bagels as regular and gourmet; the price difference between the two being around 80 cents to $1.

For a bagel, the cost can be as low as $2.05. When upgrading thespread or bagel type, the price increases. It is also possible to buy bagels by the half or full dozen, as well as various cream cheese containers. Depending on the complexity of the cream cheese, the prices differ, ranging from $2.99 to $4.39 for a small tub.

For sandwiches and burgers, the prices range from $9 to $14, as there are many available toppings. With many options for different types of consumers, Cramer’s Bagels allows for flexibility and accessibility.

The shop is located right on El Camino Real, with both indoor and outdoor seating for convenience. From Benson Memorial Center, Cramer’s is an easy stop, approximately a 10-minute walk or a five-minute drive.

“The distance is definitely really accessible, and the parking lot always has space if students have a car,” said Hong. “They have a lot of tables, too, so it's great to go with friends or as a place to study if Starbucks is too crowded.”
